Live envisioning workshop for people at or near FI
Build the Life Your Financial Freedom Is For
You’ve done the hard work to create financial freedom. Now join a live, interactive envisioning workshop to get clear on the life you want that freedom to support—and take your first step toward living it now.
You don’t need a perfect plan. You only need curiosity and a willingness to ask what’s possible.
The question after “enough”
Financial independence can give you options without giving you direction
What do I actually want this freedom to make possible?
You saved. You invested. You made thousands of decisions to create more freedom and flexibility in your life.
But a spreadsheet can tell you when you have enough. It can’t tell you:
- What you want an ordinary Tuesday to feel like
- Where you want to invest your best energy
- How you want to show up for your health, family, and community
- What kind of contribution feels meaningful now
- What you want to move toward—not only what you want to leave behind
Without a compelling vision, work can remain the default even when the numbers say you have choices. You may find yourself stuck in “one more year,” waiting for certainty that never arrives.
This workshop creates dedicated space to explore the life question—not just the financial one.
Guided. Interactive. Practical.
This isn’t another retirement-planning webinar
No one will tell you whether you should quit your job. And you won’t spend the session silently collecting more information.
This is a guided, participatory experience designed to help you connect with yourself, another person on the journey, and the biggest honest vision you can imagine for your life.

What you’ll experience
A simple progression from space and imagination to connection and action.
Pause
Step out of the routines, expectations, and practical constraints that shape your thinking. Create enough space to hear what you genuinely want.
Envision
Picture an ordinary day in your financially independent life—the people, places, rhythms, activities, and feelings that make life meaningful.
Think bigger
Set aside what seems reasonable for a moment. Discover what feels true and energizing before negotiating with reality.
Connect
Share your emerging vision with another thoughtful person. Being witnessed can reveal possibilities that are difficult to see alone.
Begin
Choose one small action or low-risk experiment that helps you start living part of the vision now—without blowing up your life.
Clearer when you leave
You’ll leave with

- You’re primarily looking for investment, tax, withdrawal-rate, or retirement-planning advice
- You want someone else to tell you whether to leave your job
- You’re looking for a passive webinar you can keep open in another tab
A grounded practice
What is envisioning?
Envisioning is choosing and practicing a new story about what is possible so your attention, decisions, and actions begin moving toward the life you want.
It isn’t predicting the future. It isn’t a rigid five-year plan. And it isn’t pretending that real constraints don’t exist.
It’s giving your mind a direction—then gathering real-world information through small experiments.

Adam Coelho
Host of The Mindful FIRE Podcast · Creator of Mindful FIRE
Adam brings mindfulness, envisioning, and financial independence together to help people create lives they love and make work optional.
After 14 years at Google and building financial independence by age 36, Adam learned firsthand that FU money can provide freedom without answering the deeper question: What do I want to walk toward?
His own next chapter emerged through mindfulness, conversations, podcasting, facilitation, coaching, community, and small experiments—not from a perfect master plan.
Adam has taught mindfulness and envisioning to thousands of people, including leaders at Google’s CEO leadership conference. He now helps people at or near FI get clear on what they genuinely want and begin living it now.
Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to have reached financial independence?
No. This workshop is for people at or near FI—and for anyone close enough that questions about work, time, identity, and the next chapter are becoming real.
Will you tell me whether I should quit my job?
No. The goal isn’t to push you toward retirement or any dramatic decision. The goal is to help you get clearer about the life you want so you can make more intentional choices.
Is this financial planning?
No. We won’t cover investing, taxes, withdrawal strategies, or whether your FI number is sufficient. This workshop focuses on the life your financial freedom is meant to support.
What if I don’t know what I want?
That’s exactly why this experience exists. You don’t need to arrive with answers. The guided reflection, envisioning, and conversation are designed to help a clearer signal emerge.
What if I have too many ideas?
You won’t be asked to choose one permanent path. You’ll explore the themes beneath your ideas and identify one small experiment that can give you useful real-world information.
Is this a lecture?
No. Expect guided reflection, journaling, and meaningful conversation. You’ll participate rather than passively consume.
How much does it cost?
Registration is $50.
When and where is it?
The workshop is live online on Friday, August 14. The exact time and access details will be announced before registration opens.
Your next chapter can start now
You didn’t build financial freedom just to have a bigger number.
You built it to create a life. Give yourself dedicated space to imagine that life, say it out loud, and take one meaningful step toward it.
